Buttery Pecan Pie Bars
Ingredients Crust: 1 1/4 cups unsalted butter (room temperature) 1/3 cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt Topping: 1 cup unsalted butter 1 cup light corn syrup or maple syrup 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar (packed) 1/2 cup cornstarch 4 egg yolks 1/2 cup heavy cream 1 pound pecans (roasted and chopped) 1/8 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Instructions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
